The MacBook Pro costs £1429 and is FOUR TIMES faster than previous Apple Powerbook shitboxes. It costs a bit much for a laptop, but it's nice to see Apple isn't ditching its other main core value -- overcharging.
Hopefully they'll do a Windows XP model soon too!

Just got back from Macworld - the picture above is showing ichat in action. It looked rather good at the exhibition in terms of perf but lord knows how it would be on a dodgy net hookup at home. Of course, 1/2 of bloody macworld is still about a bunch of crap you stick your iPod in/on. Ironic how short the memory of the machead is - I mean, in just a couple of years they went from the 'toasted' intel bunny ads to draping SF with posters which proudly reply to the question "Whats an intel chip doing in a mac?" with "More than its ever done in a PC". Stupid..

i gave my sony laptop away as my boyfriend decided to surprise me with a shitty mac os for my brithday last week, i have to let off steam coz i cant work the fucking thing, it is SHITE, nothing works, everything is more difficult, there arent any instructions and i just want to smash it through the wall...

Just got an Intel mac, my G4 Powerbook was stolen and the insurance company sent me this hunk of shit. It does absolutely nothing, slow as fuck and about as responsive as a concrete turd!!!
