Nokia 6070 -- a sort of cheap media phone

It has a camera and a radio, and that's about it. It's probably meant for people who live in isolated villages, where anything that's 'new' and also 'a phone' is quite impressive.

But were you to get this entry-level, tiny-screened, one-camera thing out at a fashionable Soho bar you'd be asked to leave the premises immediately -- for your own safety!



How much money did this photoshoot absorb? They hired models, a photographer, contacted someone at GAP to borrow lots of bland casual clothes, cordoned off a whole street, and you can't even SEE the phone! There are children in Africa who haven't even got ONE ring tone, and you're wasting money on this. Shameful.




We have no idea what this image is saying on any level. Is it perhaps saying the Nokia 6070 is so expensive you have to sell all your furniture to buy one?




Boring 'candybar' phone for people who've lost their proper one and need to get a cheap replacement at lunchtime, and there's only one shop in town that sells mobile phones. And that shop is Woolworths.

XHTML browser enables easy browsing for news and uploading images and videos for sharing using fast EDGE data communication. For additional entertainment, the phone comes with a stereo FM radio and supports true tones, MP3 and polyphonic MIDI ringing tones.

The triband Nokia 6070 (E)GSM 850/1800/1900 or (E)GSM 900/1800/1900) is expected to be available in the second quarter of 2006 at an estimated retail price of 135 EUR, excluding taxes and subsidies.
