Grundig is still going!
Following our March report that Grundig is still going, it would appear that Grundig is STILL going three months later and has now embraced the MP3 player market.
It is putting "Grundig" stickers on generic MP3 players bought in bulk from China, at least. This one is called the "Mpixx 2001" which might've sounded cool if it was released in 1997, back when 2001 still seemed like an exciting, far away, futuristic year.

My knowledge has either stooped to knew lows, or I'm wrong. :-(

All this serious talk has got me in the mood for more cider.
Imagine what the Goldstar girls used to look like. I bet they were the very same LG girls we all know and love, albeit in foetus form.

Aiwa is now owned by Sony. Wikipedia knows all.
I once had an AIWA personal stereo (i guess a walkman now) that only ever chewed up tapes instead of playing them. That's how Genesis' 'House on the Hill' and Dire Strait's 'Brothers in Arms' were destroyed in our household.
And Fleetwood Mac.
