Nokia 8600 Luna - side-on exclusive
Once again we are the only "tech blog" with the bare-faced insolence to show you a photo of the Nokia 8600 from the side - and at approximately SIXTY TIMES normal size:
This would appear to show that the 8600 is using a standard mini-USB connector, instead of the awkward proprietary Nokia connectors of old! Great news!! If there was a campaign and internet petition about making everything use mini-USB cables instead of proprietary cables, we'd definitely think about signing it.
The slogan for this campaign could be "One PC, one cable, one future".
Hopefully the cable allows the phone to synch its time with your PC's clock, meaning you don't have to look at your phone AND your PC to see what the time is, then average the two in your head to get a closer idea of what the actual time is.

Mini USB is great because we can charge our phones off of our laptop. Of course the battery in our laptop lasts for 6 minutes so we have to charge that up as well.
We need some insertion pictures.

The thing is that this is not mini-USB, but rather micro-USB. Micro-USB is smaller, designed with devices like phone in mind.

While you're at your 'one cable' campaign, can you also ask them to make one bloody type of charger and stick with it!?! I have drawers full of chargers that don't fit the phone I have at any given time, as I'm sure everyone else does. Rrrrgh!
It uses the USB to charge it so the one cable campaign would include that wouldnt it?
the only button on this phone is a usb jack that you must speak the numbers into in order to dial. innovative.

I got this phone yesterday beand new (company gave it me).
Its alright, but it aint anything speceial.
Oh... I dont think thats a micro usb...... I have a motorola that has micro-USB and this is a different plug. its like some sort of nokia-usb..... dont believe me... your all gay
