Disaster for Sanyo. This is an appalling hold. The device is so far off centre you can hardly see it, the body of the camera is almost entirely obscured by her hand, the angle of the background and odd tilt of the shoulders is giving us motion sickness - the whole scene's one sad, sorry mess.
And... is it even turned on? At least she remembered to remove the lens cap, but that won't be much consolation to her on the flight home tomorrow.

Thingholding championship or whatever the fuck its called is about one million times more dull than battery fortnight. And i'll tell you why... although the women are better to look at than batteries they aren't half as funny and don't lend any comedy value to the journalism. And they don't explode in fires.

Oh, my... the poor dear looks so tired. Maybe Sanyo made her find her own way to the finals. Hitchhiking, stuffing herself into cargo crates, holding onto the bottom of rail cars, hiding in the landing gear of an airplane...
That would explain the weak hold. She was so exhausted, she couldn't work the muscles required to twist the display around toward the camera.
And now she'll have to do it all again on her shameful return home to the Sanyo compound, where she very well could be "put out to pasture." Someone really should investigate Sanyo for human rights abuses.

Still, it's nice to see some news photographers are still using the traditional Rollei/Hasselblad square format camera.
I for one applaud the "punk" attitude to this young ladies hold. Yes it's somewhat unconventional, but that's what she is all about. With people like you not wanting change, "Holding" will never move on.
