The GP2X F200
The GP2X is amazing. Although we've never owned, held or used one. It's clearly just amazing. Now there's an even better one. It's touch screen and costs the same as the old one.
We tried to blag one of the previous models by email about a year ago. They didn't even reply. Perhaps now we are a massive global force in the tech blogging scene we will be more successful. Perhaps they will even find this update and email us asking for an address to send one to!

Looks fantastic, and I'd buy one today.
If only I could fit my music collection, a couple of films, some games and some pornography onto an SD card.

It looks like a DS, but with only one screen. So if you were playing Mario Kart DS, you'd have to watch the 2D bottom screen. Except it doesn't play DS games, so that's irrelevant.

The guy who will be selling these and already sells the older models is currently designing a better console. May even outpower the PSP.
I have had the gp2x since release and its a good little unit with some kick arse emulators and excellent pr0n playback capabilities.
you should definitely get one of these jobbies. For free, too.
censored: you can plug in any USB drive with a usb cable or the official cradle. sure, you need a powered hub or similiar... but the unit shows great potential. I own a f100. it rocks, and certianly isn't a PSP knockoff. those who call it crap are entirely missing the point of the unit.
I got mine this morning, and I think it's a great little machine. Full of geekery. Okay, battery life is awful, but waddya expect, the thing's got two processors, a bright backlight, a bucketfull of memory and a 3.5" touchscreen.
It's not a psp or a ds, and nor does it claim to be. Primarily, it's a games system emulator. The multimedia stuff is, in my opinion nothing more than frosting. I bought it to use as an emulator and ebook reader, and that's what I've spent all day doing with it.
Well, that and running back and forth to the battery charger!
