Have we seen one of those this year? I think Trotty McBigtoe was the last to perform that successfully back in 1973. Can anyone confirm that?
It was Trotty. She's since changed her name to something more befitting of her post-op status.
I was her fluffer at the time, being employed to remove sods of cotton from between her toes.
In those days, of course, mobile phones had wheels and ran on steam, so holding them was more of a jacking-up. Trotty spent a long time in the gym working on her single-toe press-ups.

To be fair to the ladies, it is a lot to ask a showgirl to display enthusiasm and vim when so much of her operational assets are hidden behind a bank of screens.
