Walkers crisps are "Divine with Wine"
Those big bags of Walkers crisps have panels on the back of the packs encouraging you to drink wine. Is this even allowed by law?
So if you spend your evenings having wine and crisps for dinner, you are no longer a weirdo - you're an actual demographic! You exist and have been validated. Society, and major corporations, recognise you and are selling stuff at you.
We did a bit of "digging around" (Google) and found that it's due to wine producer Gallo. Gallo reckons that "20 percent of evening Sensations consumption is accompanied by wine consumption, and this figure is growing at 23 percent year-on-year."
Jane Hunter, E&J Gallo Winery's marketing director, said: "Gallo Family Vineyards and Walkers Sensations were made for each other. We think so and we’re sure our consumers will too. What could be more perfect for our consumers than enjoying a good quality glass of wine with some delicious snacks?"
Dunno. Having something nutritious for dinner instead? Something that won't trigger a downward spiral into middle-aged alcoholism?

Holy Crap! That means in roughly three years time all my friends will be eating wine and crisps. I'd better go and get a case load of these crisps and 12 bottles of plonk to make sure I don't get ignored at the next soiree I attend.
So, are you supposed to dunk them then, like a digestive in tea?
I wonder what they taste like drenched in Special Brew?
I think the idea is you drink two bottles of wine on your own, then go to the supermarket for food. Then buy a big bag of crisps.

The back of the Pot Noodle I had last night advised me that it "tastes great with Morrison's own brand Morrinov vodka or meths".
It was right too.
What next? Quavers wanting you to enjoy their cheesy polystyrene snacks with Advocaat? Twiglets and Beamish?
Surely the idea is to prepare the crisps like you did as a child when you made your own salt and vinegar crisps from a bag of Ready Salted and some Sarsons.
Pour a glass of Gallo (or Blossom Hill - there's no corporate deals in my house) into the bag, shake liberally and enjoy.
Eat them fast though before they go soggy.

Walkers sensations are the top crisp of all time, even giving birth to a mongrel ginger stepchild, tescos cash in Segsations setup to trap those not paying full attention to whats going in the trolly. Anyway, they taste great, especially the chilli and the black pepper/Salt flavour. Jesus you've turned into fucking snack spot.
My dad is a middle-aged alcoholic. I don't think it's an avoidable fate, it happens to us all :(
The poncey crisps are just optional.

Ah yes, E&J Gallo, makers of fine and responsibly-consumed wines such as Thunderbird and Night Train Express - which I suspect would go rather better with crisps than their suggestion.
