Gadgets with FACES #28: A particularly happy Dell optical mouse
They love it. They just love being flipped over.
"Today I was working away quite happily here in TomTom Amsterdam (cheap pop), when my mouse flipped over, all on its own. At first I thought nothing of this freak incident, until I looked down and saw this great face staring back at me. It's almost like a clown! Just look at the red shiny nose. Oh dear, these gadgets with faces are getting more and more tenuous by the day. Please Idiot, think of a new feature before we all go mad!

That is exactly like my mouse here at work. Must mean that it's part of some bargain basement, cheap-skate deal.
Now that I know about it's face I don't like to bother it. Work rate... has.... seriously... suffered.......

And I don't mean abacuses, or whatever the plural is.
How about keyboard contents month? Everyone has all kinds of crap hidden away beneath their keys, from biscuit crumbs to coffee stains, bogeys and the occasional pubic hair. Each submission would reveal an epic story about the keyboards user.
Why is my logitech mouse so sad ?

I had an awesome Texas Instruments one but it's been thrown away, when I realised the teachers were LYING about the importance of long division in the real world.
Sorry to go against the grain here, but I like these updates. We're discovering all these little smiley buggers all around us; at home, at work, at the disco. I imagine it's what making friends feels like.
I have a bad ass old school calculator with RED LIGHT UP NUMBERS. Go with it!
My Technika/Tesco Mouse also looks quite happy. Thought not as happy as the Dell mouse. The Dell mouse has the grin of a paedophile.
