Parrot is BACK!
Our favourite provider of non-ironic lifestyle photography has released a new product. The Parrot PARTY Black Edition. It has "Near Field Communication" technology. Which will no doubt put you at the centre of the party, somehow.
This means parrot has once again assembled a collection of models, told them to look like they're having fun, and released a photograph of the fun happening into the wild.

Ah, yes lifestyle. And as we all know, in lifestyle, we cram the twiggy white jokers in the foreground to bag our main target audience, and then bung in an out of focus black guy in the background to keep the equal rights people at bay.
Look at him. I can almost feel his hate from here.

That's actually pretty brave photography. Taking snaps in Venice Beach is ropey enough with all the crackheads and stabbings that go on. However, taking photographs at the skatepark there, especially of mock skaters, borders on attempted suicide.
I skated that park about five years ago when I wasn't VERY SCARED of breaking my arms. Every now and again a German couple on holiday would wander up and want to take a picture of this cultural LA icon.
At which point all the skaters would flip out and start shouting. If the photography continued, they would rush at the photographer, take the camera and smash it. I only saw this happen once, but given I was there for about two hours, it's pretty on top.
They are a hard bunch too, not like the little emo kids on skateboards back home. These were like the baddies off of Point Break.
As such, this series deserves a little kudos for its guerilla fearlessness if nothing else.
yeah skateboard has obviously never seen use. shows signs of being freshly gripped. the bigger shocker is that the wheels arent white as they should be. look like ricta supercrystals to me. i hope they're blue to colour coordinate with his board, it'd be the only excuse especially when wearing red skate shoes.
Lucky that guy in the last pic has tight jeans on as it masks the erection the size of Paris he must have from having a girl actually touching him.

Alternatively you could enquire as to whether the oh so feminine boys are Siamese twins, joined at the palm, and discuss the problems this would raise when the wanted to knock one off while surfing the net. Who would use the shared hand?
