RC-AAT06 landscape stereo remote control
RC clearly stands for 'remote control'. We're starting to get bored of companies and their incredibly thoughtless and transparent naming techniques.
But we cannot envisage a time when we will be bored by landscape remote controls!
"This 'remote control' is very poor. You need to be four inches away from the stereo for it to have any effect. Still doesn't stop me trying, though - time after time after time. I don't know what the BBE, T-BASS or SHIFT buttons do or mean. It would appear that it once had a flip-lid on it, probably to protect the buttons from unnecessary air-exposure.
"This is the only remote control I have, and the only 'work' I have to do today. If you ever decide to change themes, I can provide photographs of at least 7 different items of furniture. Regards - Max."

Surely "landscape" rather than "portrait"...?
Oh yes. I have an odd mental block regarding those two.
Like how I always used to think Susan Sarandon and Geena Davis were the same person, only Geena Davis was her on a 'good day' and Sarandon was her on a 'bad day'.
Finally we're calling them landscape. I didn't want to say anything in case it was some kind of genius ironic humour that I didn't understand (you could probably still just about get away with it..)
Or like Patrick Swayze and Kurt Russel.
Or Malcolm Macdonald and Michael McDonald. I used to be really impressed that he could play for Arsenal *and* be one half of the Doobie brothers. Supermac indeed.
My old Aiwa hi-fi has a BBE button it's some sort of sound enhancement or un-enhancement if you turn it off it sounds shit if you turn it on it sounds normal so I just leave it on all the time. Pity the remote for it does rock like this one does.

I used to babysit at some dude's house whose Akai VCR had the best landscape remote of all time, that fucker was almost as big as the VCR itself. It even had a flip up lcd screen - somewhat over the top some may argue, but I loved it.
