OLD CALCULATOR: Texas Instruments TI-30
Had one of these. In the early 1980s it was thrilling owning a device that could automatically calculate square roots of numbers. Plus the red LED meant you could pretend it was part of a spaceship. "Shut up, Avon! I'm in charge of inputting coordinates today."

Calculators in the 80s ran off nostalgia being projected 20 years back in time.
I had a Casio watch calculator. I was the envy of the whole school, until it broke and I threw it on a fire.
The batteries didn't explode, BTW. Just melted.
My dad had one of those!
I used to do my maths homework on it......and turn it upside down and write BOOBIES.
