Women understanding remote controls is not the issue, it's getting 'em back off them when they've got their hands on them. I don't know what my Sky+ remote looks like these days, the missus keeps it for 24 hour Sex and the City viewing.

Also I blew its speakers up some time ago (playing Halo while off my trolley) so run the sound through the hi fi, which has MANY source settings. You can easily imagine the trouble my wife has with the remotes. It's not happening, basically.
