Google Chrome - a review
It works, but there doesn't seem to be any point. The Help file doesn't mention any point, and there's no Point section on the download page. Can anyone clarify the point of it?
Maybe we're just a bit old to go learning slightly new buttons for things. 6/10.

"For times when you want to browse in stealth mode, for example, to plan surprises like gifts or birthdays, Google Chrome offers the incognito browsing mode. Webpages that you open and files downloaded while you are incognito won't be logged in your browsing and download histories; all new cookies are deleted after you close the incognito window. You can browse normally and in incognito mode at the same time by using separate windows."

Its very good at javascript and has advanced sandboxing - the good people at google made a comic about it, presumably the sandboxing is something to do with catching paedophiles by tricking them into thinking that there is a sandpit somewhere on the internet.
Externally, you wont notice much of a difference. But internally it's heading to be far superior to other browsers. To get the "point" you're best off reading the comic that Ringo mentioned:

I was going to make a serious response, like the ones above. Then I remembered where I was.
I'm not really bothered about how good my browser is internally, to be honest. It all sounds a bit "Apple" to me.
Which ironically isn't supported by Google Chrome.
i think the ultimate 'point' will be in 3-5 years time when we hear of the all new google OS. in 200 years time it will the great religion of googology.
Webpages that you open and files downloaded while you are incognito won't be logged in your browsing and download histories, however, everything will still be uploaded directly to Google to keep track of everything you do

Not being able to scroll up renders it shit in my eyes. No matter what’s going on behind the scenes. It’s a pretty basic function that, on my machine at least, doesn’t work. I.E firefox and safari and seem to be able to handle that
